Creating Value Out Of Activities Leadership activities are a key element in my class. We do one activity per week unless we have a crazy week with too much going on. No matter what activity I do with my students, we always talk about it afterwards. Some of our best learning lessons come from these talks. I usually ask questions like, how do you guys think you did? What kind of challenges did you face? How could you have done it better? Did any leaders emerge? Where they bossy or helpful?

I often call on students that don’t raise their hands just to get more involvement. Often the quiet ones have something very insightful to offer.
