PROM VENUES

The type of facility you choose will affect almost every other decision you make in the prom planning process. When deciding on a site for your event, consider the venue location, size, and cost, as well as the number of people who will be attending prom. The site should be within 30 minutes of your school so guests and parents don’t have far to drive. The site should be big enough to hold the number of guests that you expect to attend. Ask in advance about security, parking, and drop off areas. Depending on the location, you might have to book the site anywhere from a few months to a year in advance.

Sites to consider:
The school gym, hotel ballrooms, banquet halls
restaurants, city parks/gardens,
boats/cruise ships, VFW halls, convention centers.
