FRESHMAN
OLYMPICS
The objective of the Freshman Olympics is to provide opportunities for freshmen to
get to know their classmates in a fun environment. Each freshmen English class
assumes the name of a country.
Each day the English class sends
representatives to participate in events. Try to keep all of the events to
one central area in the middle of campus. This allows for better spectator
participation and easier administration of the events. Listed below are
some of the activities you can include in your Freshmen Olympics:
-
Spelling Bee
-
Water Balloon Toss
-
Jenga (Building Blocks Tournament)
-
Free Throw Contest
-
Limbo
-
Toilet Paper Roll
-
Trivia Question
The ASB students supervise and record the
winners of each event. At the end of the week, the numbers are totaled and
reported to the student body. The class with the most points wins the Olympic
Tournament as is awarded a pizza party.
