Holiday Surprise
Pep Rally
This
rally parallels the holiday toy drive. Students who bring
in a toy to donate to the drive
receives
a raffle ticket from the ASB Office.
Their raffle tickets make
the students eligible to win a prize
at the Holiday Rally.
-
After each rally performance, select
one of the raffle tickets. The student whoseraffle
ticket is drawn comes down to the middle of the court.
-
You offer the person $10 for the raffle ticket, or
they can choose one of the wrapped surprises. If
they choose a wrapped surprise,
they must do at least
one fun challenge (Name That Tune-wrong answer
and they
get flour poured on their head etc.) No matter if
they get the challenge right or wrong, they still get
to choose one of the wrapped surprises.
-
The wrapped surprises must be good. You want to
reward these students for two things:
The first is
for participating in the
toy drive and the second is for being a good sport
for having things poured on them. You can
have
prizes donated by local school sponsors(X-Box,
DVD player etc.)
-
You should have a couple of gag presents wrapped
so
if a student chooses one, it gets the crowd to
respond. At the end of the rally, you can bring the
student back out and give them a crisp $20 bill
-
Have holiday background music playing during the
gift selection
This
is a fun way to kick off the winter break.

If your having problems on the
winter dance for activates you can always look for a
DJ that already does
activities or here are some: present wrap up,
sleigh race, 2 legged race ( tie both legs
together and they hop to the finish line).
