Battle of the Elementary Schools
Pep Rally
This
rally is awesome, especially for high school age
students. Students sit in sections based on which
elementary school they attended. The entire rally is
based around elementary school activities.
Organize class competitions based on the elementary
schools the students attended. The activities include:
-
Tricycle race
-
Speed Hop Scotch
-
Who can yell parts of Dr. Seuss phrases the loudest
or who can finish a Dr. Seuss phrase.
-
Jump rope obstacle course
-
Handball on the back of the gym wall. Single
elimination with one long line and everyone takes a
turn.
-
Lips sync to children’s songs (Barney)
As
an added bonus, if possible
, bring in
elementary school teachers who the students had when
they were youngsters.
This
rally is a lot of fun with lots of energy. The school
with the most winners is crowned “The King of
the Elementary Schools.”
