I Want to Be a Star Lunchtime Activity

“I Want to Be a Star” is a great lunchtime activity. This activity allows your inspiring singers a chance to showcase their talent. Publicize this activity at least one month in advance. Performers need to sign-up in the ASB Office, and they need to provide you with a copy of the lyrics and music they will be singing. Do not allow any performance to go longer than two minutes. Anything longer than two minutes can cause the crowd to become disinterested. Have your singers perform during a lunchtime and have your student body scream and yell to determine the winner. You may have to prescreen participants if you get too many sign-ups. This activity is always a big hit with the students.
