Battle of the Bands

 

 

Battle of the Bands is a lunchtime activity that draws big crowds. Listed below are some guidelines to follow when hosting a Battle of the Bands:

  1. Sign-Up in ASB Office (Must provide a copy of lyrics during sign-ups).

  2. Each band performs two songs, and each song can be no longer than two minutes.

  3. All bands must be comprised of your school’s students.

  4. Bands need to bring all equipment in the morning before the start of the school day.

  5. Bands will need to share PA systems and drum sets.

  6. Band participants should be dismissed for lunch 15 minutes early to set up.

  7. Be sure to have a meeting with all participants at least one week prior to the event.

  8. Establish a criteria for judging the bands.

  9. Have pre-set rules and guidelines which all bands must follow.
