Long-John Balloon Stuff Class Competition

This is a fun activity that involves a number of participants. I saw it done at the CADA Leadership Camp and the students loved it. Provide one pair of XL Long-John pajamas to each contestant. Have the contestants stand on top of a chair or bench so they are easily visible to the audience. Pass out 50 balloons to the contestants’ team members. Make sure each team has different color balloons. On the command of “Go!” each team blows up their balloons and stuffs them into their participants Long-John pajamas. The team with the most balloons inside their contestant’s pajamas after three minutes is declared the winner. You can then have the contestants wearing the pajamas pop their balloons once the contest is over. This activity provides a lot of energy and would work great at a rally.
