Select four contestants per grade level. Provide the contestants with a scavenger list. However, the list is not made up of objects, it is made up of people. The contestants must find people who match the trait or characteristic on the list. Once they have found a match they must bring that person to a predetermined location. The class that finishes the list first is declared the winner. Listed below are some list items:

1)       Find a person who plays on one of the school’s sports teams.

2)       Find a person who is a member of the school’s band.

3)       Find a person who is wearing red shoes.

4)       Find a person who drives a truck.

5)       Find a person who has had a birthday in the last week.

6)       Find a person who has really long hair.

7)       Find a person who has on a green shirt.

8)       Find a person who is wearing sandals.

9)       Find a person who likes Brittany Spears.

10)   Find a person who can sing the school’s alma mater.
