Brunch / Break Activity
What
you need:
-
4 Hippity Hops (bouncers) / or tricycles
-
8 water cooler bottles, 2 per class
-
4 pieces of 10 ft rope
-
One
participant per grade level
Activity:
The
students hop on their bouncer or tricycle with a 10 ft
rope/ lasso. On the command of "go," the students hop /
ride to a location approximately 8 feet away from their
water cooler bottles. Once they reach their location,
they try to lasso their water bottle and drag it back to
the finish line. They repeat the process until all of
their water cooler bottles have been returned to the
finish line. The person who does this the quickest is
the winner.
You
may want to weigh down your bottles
with a little bit of
sand and water. This will prevent the bottles from
falling over
as easily.
